This quote really shocked me because I can see the connection between the two. I made the connection almost instantly after reading it because if schools aren't preparing us for anything, then they're just like a queue into real life. Another connection I made is that this probably isn't true anymore because of the economical crisis. Now, there really aren't any jobs so us students are probably staying longer and longer in school. This quote really made me think because it's something really simple but it makes a really strong impact.
